Feeling stuck in your business or life isn't about lacking talent, resources, or opportunities. It's about the stories that you are telling yourself. In this episode of Thrive In Five, I'll show you how tiny mindset shifts can create massive breakthroughs and get you unstuck faster than you think.
Speaker:Welcome back to Thrive in Five, where I give you a quick burst of motivation and productivity in five minutes or less. I'm Cindy, your host, a self-made entrepreneur, busy mom, and a business coach. I've built and sold several digital businesses ranging from five to six figure successes. So when it comes to managing time and priorities in both life and work, I get it. I've been there and I am here to help you thrive.
Let's talk about something that's both invisible and incredibly powerful. It's the thoughts that are keeping you stuck. Here's what I've learned from building multiple businesses and coaching lots of women in their own businesses, is that success isn't about doing completely different. Things, it's about thinking differently, about the same things. When you are stuck, your brain is running old programs, it's telling you stories like, I'm not ready. I don't have enough experience. Or Successful people are just lucky, but here's the kicker. These aren't facts. These are just thoughts and thoughts. They can be changed. So how do you shift from stuck to successful? It starts with recognizing that your mindset is the lens. Through which you see every opportunity, every challenge, and every possibility. First, you need to question your evidence. When you catch yourself thinking, I can't do this, ask yourself, is this actually true or is this fear talking? Most of the time, what feels like evidence is just your brain trying to keep you safe in your comfort zone. So challenge it. Look for the proof that contradicts your limiting belief. I bet you find it. Then flip the script on failure. Instead of seeing setbacks as proof that you're not cut out for this, start seeing them as data. Every failure is feedback. Every rejection is redirection. When you shift from, why is this happening to me, to, what is it teaching me? You transform obstacles into stepping stones, and here's the game changer. Start acting like the person you are becoming, not the person you've been. Ask yourself, how would the successful version of me handle this situation? How would she show up? How would she prioritize? Then do that. Your brain will start to believe your actions. You are telling it. These mind shifts work because your mindset isn't just about positive thinking. It's about possibility thinking. When you change how you think. You change what you see and when you change what you see, you change what you do. I've watched clients go from, I could never charge that much to doubling their rate in weeks from, I'm not an expert to landing speaking gigs from, I don't have time to launch that course. To actually launching that course. They'd been dreaming about the difference wasn't in their circumstances. It was in their mindset. So if you want to implement this today, here is how to start. Catch yourself in one limiting thought today and question its truth. Look for the evidence that contradicts it. Reframe one recent setback as feedback. Instead of failure, what did it teach you? And finally, identify one action. The successful version of you would take this week and take it. Remember, you are not stuck because you lack ability. You are stuck because you've been thinking the same thoughts that got you here. Change those thoughts. Change the results. You've got this.
