\If your calendar feels like chaos, you are not alone in today's Thrive In Five, I will show you how to take back control and start managing your schedule like a true CEO with purpose, precision, and power.

Speaker:

Welcome back to Thrive in Five, where I give you a quick burst of motivation and productivity in five minutes or less. I'm Cindy, your host, a self-made entrepreneur, busy mom, and a business coach. I've built and sold several digital businesses ranging from five to six figure successes. So when it comes to managing time and priorities in both life and work, I get it. I've been there and I am here to help you thrive.

Let's talk about managing your calendar like a CEO. Not like someone trying to squeeze productivity into leftover cracks of a chaotic day. CEOs don't find time. They make it. They lead their schedule instead of reacting to it. And if you want to lead your life or your business, well, you need to start treating your calendar like a strategic tool and not a junk drawer for every random task and appointment. So how exactly do you do that? First, you need to start with your non-negotiables before the week even begins. Block off time for things that actually move your goals forward. These are things like deep work blocks, content creation strategy sessions, whatever actually grows your business or supports your long-term vision, if it's important, it needs to go on the calendar first. Second group similar tasks together. This is called Task Batching, and it's a CEO's secret weapon checking emails, schedule it once or twice a day. Admin work. Give it a window. Don't let these little tasks bleed into your prime hours of. Focus. Third, protect your peak energy hours. If you are a morning person, don't waste that time on errands or calls that could happen later. This is your gold zone and use it wisely. And last build in margin. CEOs don't over schedule. They leave space to think, breathe, recover, and pivot. Buffer time isn't lazy. It is strategic. To implement this strategy, here are your action steps. Pull up next week's calendar and block off your highest priority work. First, choose one type of task to batch this week, whether it's emails, meetings, errands, whatever, eats away your time. And finally, identify your peak energy window and reserve it for the work that matters most. You can take control of your calendar. You can lead your day like a CEO. You've got this.
