need a quick, tangible way to stay motivated on those hard days. In this episode of Thrive in Five, I'll show you how to create a motivation jar, your own personal stash of encouragement, clarity, and reminders to keep going when you feel stuck or unmotivated. Let's talk about a tool that makes a big difference, especially when you hit a wall or feel a dip in your energy. It's called a motivation jar, and yes, it's an actual physical jar. While this might seem simple, it's one of the most effective ways to reconnect to your why, your progress, and your purpose, especially when your mindset is spiraling. So here's how to create one and when to use it, when you need that extra push. First, you're gonna choose your container and make it yours. Find a jar, a box, a small container. You can even decorate it if you want. Add a label like open when you need a boost, or remember why you started. This is your safe space for encouragement and reminders, and it should feel personal and uplifting. The next step is you need to fill it with fuel. You are gonna write down 20 to 30 notes that inspire you or ground you. So here are some ideas your why behind your current goal, or you could write down some motivational quotes that fire you up. You could write encouraging words from past clients or friends. Maybe you include past wins or proud moments, even reminders like you've done hard things before. Progress over perfection. You can hand write these or type them and cut them out. Just keep'em in your jar for the moments when you need them the most. The next step is you use it when motivation dips. This isn't just cute craft. It is a strategy when you're doubting yourself, procrastinating or struggling to move forward. Pull a note. Let it remind you who you are and why this matters. One note can shift your mindset and help you take the next step. This works because motivation isn't always loud. Sometimes it's quiet. Like a kind word or a memory or a goal that you've tucked away. The motivation jar is a way to bring that back when your head is full of doubt and overwhelm. It's not about doing more, it's about staying connected. Let's recap if you are ready to implement this and create your jar. Let's do it. Set a 15 minute timer and find your container, a jar or a box. Write down a few motivational messages today. Place it on your desk or your workspace where you can easily reach it on tough days. Remember, your motivation might fade, but your reason won't. This jar helps you stay connected to that truth even when your energy is low.
