wanna feel more motivated without waiting for a huge milestone in today's Thrive five. We're talking about the power of tracking small wins and how those tiny victories can help build massive momentum towards your bigger goals.

Speaker:

Welcome back to Thrive in Five, where I give you a quick burst of motivation and productivity in five minutes or less. I'm Cindy, your host, a self-made entrepreneur, busy mom, and a business coach. I've built and sold several digital businesses ranging from five to six figure successes. So when it comes to managing time and priorities in both life and work, I get it. I've been there and I am here to help you thrive.

Let's talk about momentum. Not the big dramatic kind, but the kind that builds quietly win by win. Behind the scenes. If you're feeling stuck or like your efforts aren't enough, I want you to pause and ask yourself, am I actually giving myself credit for what I've already done? Because here's the truth, progress doesn't come from big moves. It's made from small, consistent wins. And when you start keeping track of those small wins, it gives your brain evidence that you're growing, that you're showing up, and that your effort is working, here's how to tap into the power of small wins. First, you're gonna create a system to notice your progress. Keep a section in your planner notebook or notes. App titled Wins. And at the end of every day or week, write down one to three things that you did well, even if they feel small, sent the email check, got out of bed and moved your body. Check. Chose rest when you needed it. Check you're gonna celebrate without disclaimers. Stop discounting your progress with phrases like it was just a little thing or that doesn't really count. It does count when you celebrate a win, no matter how small you train your brain to crave consistency instead of perfection. And that shift, that is where momentum lives. You're gonna reflect when motivation dips, the next time you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or behind, scroll back through your list of wins. Seeing your progress helps remind you that you're already becoming the person you want to be. Motivation isn't always found in what's next. It's often hiding in what you've already done. This works because your brain is wired to notice what's wrong. So you have to be very intentional about noticing what's right. Small wind give you emotional fuel to keep going and the more you acknowledge them, the easier it is to keep showing up. To recap, here are your action steps for today to implement this. Start a small wins list in your planner or phone record, one to three things that you are proud of today. Even if they are small now, revisit your list. Anytime you feel stuck or unmotivated, you don't need a finish line to feel accomplished. Momentum builds with every step forward. And those small wins, they're proof you're already in motion.
